UMKC Emergency Relief
Be a part of the UMKC community response to COVID-19
With the effects of COVID-19 unfolding every day, we are stepping up to support our UMKC students. The virus has drastically disrupted life on campus. In particular, many students find themselves struggling to cover unexpected expenses related to returning home, food, housing, access to technology and other unplanned and un-budgeted circumstances.
Today, university programs and services that support students in need are more important than ever. We present you with three funds that can make a huge impact on students quickly and ask that you please consider offering your support during this challenging time. These funds address the immediate needs of UMKC students and will help them overcome difficult setbacks stemming from COVID-19.
Thank you so much for your consideration! We hope to all come together for UMKC students!
Student Emergency Fund
The Student Emergency Fund provides micro-grants to students to address unforeseen financial emergencies.
Another way to support our students is by making an unrestricted gift. These gifts are vital for the university to respond to the most immediate and highest priority needs.
UMKC Kangaroo Food Pantry
UMKC strives to provide food assistance for Roos in need, and we rely on volunteers and donations from within the UMKC community.
